The visiting teams were very successful in the Regional League 7th round. Only one home team managed to beat its rival, while one match ended in a draw.

The encounters between Partizan and Mladost have been big derbies and “water polo classics”. But today, the teams aren’t in the same weight class. Mladost continued its winning streak as it convincingly beat Partizan in Belgrade. The visitors did a damage in the first and the second quarter. Mladost was 10:2 up at halftime. The third and the fourth period were balanced. Partizan couldn’t reduce an 8-goals gap and Mladost posted a convincing 12:4 win.

Jadran Herceg Novi kept the 3rd place after a win over Mornar in a very thrilling match played in Split. The hosts earned an early 2:0 lead. Everything started to turn around from the middle of the first period. Jadran was 5:3 up at halftime. But, Mornar scored four goals in a span of 3:16 minutes and went in front (7:5).

Jadran equalized twice in the fourth period (7:7 and 8:8), while Mornar earned its last advantage in the 27th minute (9:8). An experienced Jadran’s player Dragan Draskovic scored three goals in a row and led the visitors to an 11:9 lead three minutes and 11 seconds from the end. That wasn’t the end of the drama. Mornar came to 10:11 in the last minute. The hosts had a big chance to secure a point, but the visitors’ goalkeeper Tesanovic saved a shot from Duzevic 15 seconds from time. Jadran’s Konstantin Averka didn’t miss the target in the last second to set the final score (12:10).

A very interesting game was played in Kotor, too. Primorac hosted Crvena Zvezda (Red Star). The visitors opened the match with a 2:1 lead. Primorac answered with three straight goals for a 4:2 advantage early in the third quarter. Before the last eight minutes, Primorac led 6:3. Red Star was able to come back. The Serbs produced a 3:0 rush in the fourth period. Kristian Sulc netted his third goal at the buzzer for a 6:6 draw.

Jug Dubrovnik enjoyed an easy cruise in Split. The title-holder easily beat the last-placed POSK (14:7)

Jadran Split faced Sabac at home. After the balanced first period (1:1), Jadran ruled the field and rushed to a 13:3 lead before the last break. In the remaining eight minutes, the Split-based side didn’t have a hard task to keep the big advantage (16:7).
