Croatian national team members Sandro Sukno, Paulo Obradović and Fran Paškvalin have been suspended due to a serious violation discipline, the Croatian Water Polo Federation announced on Friday.
Repeated gross violations of discipline, which culminated on April 7, on which the players did not attented the morning training session, lunch and skipped radio and tv interviews the team in the person of head coach Ivica Tucak decided to suspend Sukno, Obradović and Paškvalin, a statement by the Federation reads. The length of the suspension, nor the reason for the players to skip the obligations is yet to become public.
All three players are national team veterans with Sandro Sukno and Paulo Obradovic being part of the squad that became 2012 Olympic champion in London. Paskvalin won the bronze medal with Croatia at the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona, and finished runners-up in Kazan at the 2015 worlds last summer.
