OSC water polo club continued its winning streak in the Hungarian water polo championship, while Szolnok, Eger and Miskolc also recorded victories in the matches of the Round 8.

OSC played at home a little city derby against Vasas and won 18:6. The only dilemma in this game was how big this win is going to be. It took just 19 seconds for OSC to scored the first goal of the game and it was Krisztian Manhercz who found the net.

The home team won the opening quarter 6-2, and by the end of the half OSC already had a seven goals difference. In the second half OSC was even more brutal and eventually got to a big win.

Eger water polo players defeated visiting Metalcom Szentes 13:8, but it was a tough game for the favorites at least in the first half.

After 16 minutes of the game, Eger had a single goal advantage (7:6) and things looked a little bit shaky for the home team.

Norbert Hosnyanszky again could not play for Eger and the team felt his absence. Luckily for the hosts, Strahinja Rasovic and Angelos Vlachopoulos started to hit the net in the second half and their team finally secured a victory.

Miskolci water polo club was very confident in away game in at Kaposvari – 14:4. Although the home team scored the first goal, the visitors quickly took control of the game and halfway through the had a four-goal lead (7:3).

In the second half, the visitors were simply cruising to comfortable victory which can be very important in the fight for the third place.

Former European champion, Szolnok beat UVSE 17:8, with Bence Batori and Daniel Angyal both scoring four goals for the home team, while Andrija Prlainovic netted a hattrick.
