One of the headlines this summer of transfers was made by Champions League runner-up Olympiacos who came through with adding some power for next season. To cover the departure of Alexandros Gounas, Angelos Vlachopoulos, Jesse Smith and lefthander Blai Mallarach the Greek champion announced that Montenegro shooter Mladjan Janovic, Spanish top scorer Albert Español and experienced Croatian defender Andro Buslje will reinforce the squad for next season on a one-year-plus-one-year-option deal. And with goalkeeper Josip Pavic extending his contract coach Theodorous Vlachos keeps his core together and could play for another Champions League finals berth next year. Janovic also got the call from his former team Savona in Italy but decided to take Olympiacos’ offer after speaking with coach Vlachos.
