It does not stop for Jug Dubrovnik. Just half a week after their European Super Cup victory the Croatian side defended their national cup by beating Mladost in a one-sided final 14-6 on Sunday. In a weekend where goalie Marko Bijac was crowned Croatia’s Player of the Year, and a first of two clear wins proving too much for Jadran Split (17-9), the Vjekoslav Kobescak coached squad continued their reign in Croatia by giving Mladost, who had defeated Primorje in the second semi-final, no chance in the battle for the trophy on Sunday. Paulo Obradovic had a productive game by scoring 4 goals, while centre-forward Josip Vrlic and Loren Fatovic added 3 hits each.
