Jadran Herceg Novi won the 2016 Montenegrin national cup after a nice comeback and thrilling penalty shoot-out over Primorac on Saturday. Veteran goalie Milos Scepanovic was the hero for the defending champions. As he saved just one of the penalty shots in the series, it was enough for the win as all of his four team-mates scored their attempts. The victory got in jeopardy in the third quarter as Primorac turned things around with a 0-4 run. A 3-1 final period though got Jadran back levelled at 9-9 and so penalties had to decide the outcome. Jadran captain Zeljko Kovavic led his team in scoring with 3.
