The most interesting matches of the 15th round of the Regional League were two games that were played in Split. Visitors recorded wins in both encounters.

Jadran Herceg Novi opened the game against Jadran Split in a spectacular fashion. The Montenegrins, who were the visitors in this match, jumped to a 4:0 lead after just five and a half minutes of play. The Croats recovered from the shock. Andjelo Setka scored three goals in a row, and the Split-based side came close early in the second quarter (3:4). The visitors had a 3-goal advantage (7:4) at halftime. The Croats came back once more and they equalized deep into the third quarter (8:8 and 9:9), but they didn’t manage to go ahead. The Montenegrins built a 2-goal lead in the middle of the last quarter (11:9) and maintained the difference until the end – 13:11. The top scorer was Andjelo Setka (Split) with 5 goals, while two players from Herceg Novi scored 4 goals – Djuro Radovic and a Russian Konstantin Averka.

Mladost, the league-leader, overcame serious troubles in defeating Mornar in Split. Mladost rushed to a 3:0 lead, but at halftime, the teams were tied – 5:5. The third period was balanced, so before the last eight minutes, the score was 8:8. Mladost earned a 13:10 lead with 2:20 minutes remaining on the clock. Mornar responded with two goals in two consecutive attacks. However, Mladost barely saved three points with a 13:12 win.

Jug needed a lot of time to break Partizan in Belgrade. The young Serbian team didn’t surrender easily. Partizan trailed 6:7 in the 14th minute. By the end of the third period, Jug produced a 5:1 run. The visitors gained a nice and a crucial 12:7 lead before the fourth quarter (14:10 in the end).

Primorac collected valuable points in a battle to keep a place in the A1 Regional League. The 2009 European champion hosted Sabac. Primorac beat the Serbs in a flood of goals – 16:10. The Kotor-based side moved up to the 8th place in the table, ahead of Partizan.

The match POSK – Red Star is postponed until further notice, by a decision of the Regional League Board.
