Canottieri Napoli is the new challenge of Alex Giorgetti. After a somewhat unlucky season, marked by the ‘whereabouts case’ and missing out on Olympic participation with the national team, the Italian striker leaves Pro Recco and is ready to start over with the Napolitan team, Gazzetta dello Sport reported today. CC Napoli will now have an all-Italian team following the departure of top scorer Darko Brguljan who will play for Waspo 98 Hannover in Germany. Giorgetti will have to replace the Montenegrin international offensively scoring goals. Giorgetti signed a one-year contract with the option for another year.
In the wake of the Giorgetti transfer Canottieri Napoli also welcomed Vincenzo Dolce. The 21-year old comes over from Posillipo and signed a two-year contract.
