Mladost continued to chase spot number two in the regional Adriatic League, and in the match of the 11th round in Zagreb, home team easily defeated Vojvodina Novi Sad with 11:6 (2:1, 4:1, 5:3, 0:1). Serbian team remained at the bottom of the table with only three points, and in the next round they will play local derby with Partizan.

Vojvodina started well in Zagreb after Marko Marčeta scored a leading goal, but, ironically, it was a beginning of the end for visitors. Marceta’s goal made Mladost “angry”, Croatian team started playing a lot more solid in defense and Vojvodina scored just one more goal in next 18 minutes.

Mladost completely took over control of the game, with Bašić and Vlahović leading the way. That was more than enough for the Croatian team to gain four goals difference at half-time (6:2). And with three quick goals at the start of the third period for Mladost, there was no doubt about which way this game is going to end.

Andrija Vlahović led Mladost with four goals and Andrija Bašić contributed with three goals. Miloš Maksimović scored two goals for Vojvodina.

Jug remained undefeated in the regional league after 10 rounds after a big away win in Croatian derby against Primorje Rijeka. Brazilian Felipe Perrone led the way for European champion who made a crucial difference in the third period. Perrone finished the game with five goals, and Paulo Obradović added three more for Jug.

In Herceg Novi, host Jadran defeated namesake from Split – 9:6 and it was the seventh win for a champion of Montenegro. Aleksa Ukropina scored three goals for hosts, and Jerko Marinić Kragić also found the net three times for visitors.

The other team from Split, Mornar took the advantage of home court and beat Budva – 10:8. Antun Goreta was brilliant with five goals. The home team had a big four goals lead after the first quarter, but Budva made it back in second. It was a close game in the third period, but Mornar scored two quick goals by Čagalj and Dužević to take the lead again. And it was enough for a win because home team’s defense was at the very high level in final minutes of the game.
