Visitors were very successful in the 10th round of the Regional League. None of the home teams managed to beat its respective rival. The visiting side recorded a victory in four matches, while one game was ended with no winner.

The most interesting match of the round was played in Belgrade in the Banjica pool where Partizan hosted Mornar Split. After a flood of goals in the first quarter, the visitors had a slim 6:5 lead. Mornar was 10:7 up in the third period before Partizan produced a big comeback. The Serbs scored five goals in a row and grabbed a 12:10 lead. The home side was very close to its 2nd victory in the season as it led 13:11 in the finish of the game. But, Mornar’s Buric and Zivkovic secured a point for the visitors. The match ended in a 13:13 draw.

Two matches were played in Belgrade this evening, but in another one there were no thrills. Crvena Zvezda water polo players, who upset Jug a week ago, didn’t manage to make a new big surprise. They played against the League-leader Mladost. The Zagreb-based team controlled the match from the beginning. The visitors built a 9:3 advantage by the end of the 3rd period. In the last eight minutes, the main Mladost’s players were saving energy for the following hard exams. Mladost coach Bajic gave a chance to young players, so Red Star scored 4 goals in the last eight minutes, more than in the first three quarters together. Mladost took all three points with a 12:7 win

Jadran Herceg Novi defeated Primorac in the Montenegrin derby, played in Kotor. The visitors led throughout the match. The Kotor-based team was pretty close Jadran by the middle of the second period. Primorac trailed 3:4 after 12 minutes. In the next eight minutes, the team from Herceg Novi scored four unanswered goals for an 8:3 lead 3:56 from the end of the third quarter and opened a road towards the win – 9:5.

After a shocking loss to Crvena Zvezda in the 8th round, Jug didn’t let another surprise. The title-holder played against freshly-crowned Serbian Cup winner Sabac. The Croats, the visitors in the match, grabbed a quickly 4:1 lead, while they were 7:3 up early in the 3rd quarter. Jug didn’t slow down until the end and recorded a convincing 13:6 victory.

24 goals were scored in an encounter between two neighbors and former European champions, but there were no thrills. Jadran blew away POSK in the Split derby. Led by Milradovic (5 goals), Jadran cruised to a 17:7 win.
