The sailors have won everything they have played so far this season and if they had no problems to beat the last placed team in the league

Barceloneta’s coach Chus Martin had an opportunity to test some combinations in this match, and also to dose the play time for his best players because the Spanish club will clash with Ferencvaros next Wednesday in the Champions League.

The game in Barcelona was over already at the halftime when the home team had a 13:1 lead. Alvaro Granados was a man of the match with eight goals!

Mediterrani water polo club recorded a second consecutive victory, this time against Catalunya 9:6 and now the fourth place is within the reach.

The visitors were better rivals in the first half in which they had a 4:3 lead, but Mediterrani put a great display in the second part of the game which they won 6:2.

Sabadell hosted Terrassa in the derby game od this round and the visitors claimed a 9:8 victory. This could prove to be one of the crucial wins for Terrassa in the fight for the second place.

On the other side, Quim Colet’s side continues to have a miserable time this season winning just eight of possible 27 points in the first nine rounds of the championship.

This game was played in a great atmosphere, and after the first quarter, the score was 1:1. In the dying moments of the second period, Bernat Sanahuja scored a goal to give Terrassa a 4:3 lead.

After the break, the home team controlled the third quarter and gained a 7:6 advantage thanks to a good display from Sergi Cabanas.

Sabadell went on to take an 8:6 lead, but Terrassa answered with three consecutive goals and the last one was Sanahuja’s with the sound of the horn!
