Barceloneta water polo club finished a year with style. Defending Spanish champion defeated Mataro 10:4 in the derby match of Round 11 of Liga Premaat and maintained a perfect record in this competition.

This was a fourth consecutive win for Barceloneta against local rival and once again it was a relatively easy one. Home team gained a comfortable four goals lead (5:1) at the half-time.

After that, it was all a matter of routine for Barceloneta. Alvaro Granados lead the winning team with four goals, while Eduardo Minguez found the net two times for Mataro.

Terrassa water polo club stayed in the second place after a convincing win over visiting Navarra – 21:5. It was their ninth win in the last 10 games in the Spanish league, while Navarra recorded fourth defeat in five matches.

In this game, it was all over already after the first quarter in which Terrassa took a 6:1 advantage. The home team continued in the same way, offensively it was almost a perfect game.

Oriol Rodriguez and Sergi Mora both scored four goals each, while Donat Galeev, Bernat Sanahuja, and Marc Salvador netted hattricks.

Sabadell continued to chase second placed Terrassa after a win away at Mediterrani – 9:8. It was, without any dilemma, the most exciting game in this round. The visiting team clinched a win with a good display in the last quarter.

Three players scored two goals for Sabadell – Vicente Matoso, Javier Gorria, and Harmen Johannes.

Barcelona water polo club played a very good game at home and recorded an easy win against one of the worst teams in the league, Canarias – 14:4. Canarias and Molins de Rei are the only teams in the championship without a win so far.

This time they have given up very early in the game after Barcelona took a 5:0 lead and Eric Marsal was a top scorer of the game with four goals.
